Day # I'm tired of counting!

Morning

I woke up at 2:47 last night and was still tossing and turning at 4:30 when my husbands alarm went off.

ugh, sigh

The first thing I wanted to do is make me a bowl of sugary cereal... but I didn't. I've got some egg beaters in there and I plan on eating a breakfast sandwich before work.

I did make me some coffee and headed to facebook. There is so much negative things on FB in general but  I was pleasantly surprised to see this post. Its about bullying and this time it happened to a news anchor.

Her response lifted my spirits. No, I haven't been bullied lately but in school I was bullied a lot due to my weight. I eventually got over it and remember little now but its very damaging to a young girl. If you get a chance watch the video.

So, anyways. I have been doing very good lately. Been eating good and working out like I used too. For the month of January I haven gotten in 5 workouts a week. It feels good to get back in the swing of things.  Eating is going well too. Im logging my food and staying very close to my calorie count. I'm not a huge veggie eater so eating salads and stir fry help a lot with that. I know it takes time to start losing and it will take time for me to see some results...and I try to keep that in mind when I don't see any. Like this morning I woke up in a 'blah' mood. I headed straight for sugary cereal...and I know I don't have the calories for that and its a huge step to tell yourself that when your 'in the moment'. So my willpower is getting stronger.

Today I have to work 9:30-5. I like working in the Deli, I mean its ok...its a job ( and its better than the bakery) and im happy with my pay but I do plan on still looking for something better. I really want to work in a doctors office or a warehouse...anywhere away from food. LOL

Well, I planned on getting in a workout before work today but it looks like thats not going to happen. I will try again after work...if I don't workout today then I will just have to settle for a 4 day week.

Day #10 1/24/14 update

Morning,

Its cold here in Georgia, I've got my fuzzy socks & pj's on this morning :D

I will be working out shortly, I have to work this morning 9:30-4 and I'm pretty sure I won't feel like working out after work. Still not sure what I will do? Thinking about doing some more cardio since the scale isn't budging. I know weight lifting is important to losing weight but its hard to lift weights when I know it will stall the scale.

Anyways.

My eating is going good. I had a high calorie day on Wednesday. We ate Chickfila for lunch ( I had a chicken sandwich and a fruit cup) and for supper hubby made some country fried steak and gravy, mac-n-cheese and mashed potatoes. I had a small pc of steak, about a 1/2 cup of each of the sides. I did however enjoy two servings of Kemps frozen yogurt. OMG...SO GOOD.

Yesterday was back on track with a lower calorie day 1440 and a 45 min step aerobics workout. I did Cathe's Step Moves on 6" step. yeahya :) I know 1440 is a very low # for me calorie wise. Today won't be quite as low..around 1700 :)

So far im really proud of myself for not giving into cravings and doing my workouts. The next few weeks I should start seeing some loose pants or some lower #'s on the scale.

ok...now for that workout :)

ETA - Its now 9am and my workout is done. I did Cathe's Power hour minus core work...I will do core tomorrow. My lunch is packed for work - have a great day :)

Day # 8 ....still going.....

Good Morning,

I was a party animal last night and stayed up past my normal bedtime @ 9:30..I didn't go to sleep until midnight! I'm feeling it this morning through...kinda sleepy. We stayed up watching 'Captain Phillips' with Tom Hanks. Pretty good movie...I love Tom Hanks, he's such a good actor.

So, as the title says its day #8 and it feels like its day #108- teehee. This is the third week of 5-day-a-week exercise. Feeling really good about that. Unfortunately the scale isn't budging AT ALL. I really just want to take a sledge hammer to the damn thing. Its so discouraging to do everything right and not see any results on the scale. GAH!

But..my hubby says my butt is lifting up and I seem to be more firm everywhere. LOL..only he would notice that. haha

oh well, I will keep on trucking ...

I'm off today and so is my DH, we're headed off to the mall to look around. J.C. Penny's is having a sale on jeans for the kids. Gonna see what we can get into. We also plan on eating lunch there and I plan on getting a chicken sandwich and Chickfila ( been craving one) with a large unsweet tea. YUM.
