OMG, I Totally Went OA....

Good Morning,

Hope everyone is having a good day so far :)

So - a few things I want to share with ya'll this morning. 1st off, I went to my docs appointment (mental health guy) and it went good. I really like him...I wish he was a medical doctor as well. But anyways, we discussed my meds and he asked if I was seeing a therapist. I told him that I was thinking about going to an Overeaters Anonymous meeting and he was all for it.

I went to my first OA meeting last night. It was interesting to hear others talk about this disease. It wasn't a large group, just four other people there and when I walked in they were reading from the OA book.  After they read a chapter they each shared an experience or just whatever they wanted too with the group. When they all shared they then turn there heads to me (sigh, so I guess its my turn - lol). I shared why I was there and my journey on how I got here. It was nice to just talk without any judgement, interruptions or opinions.  I even got an offer to carpool with two other girls that live in my area :)

I'm proud of myself for going. Its hard to find the courage to start something like this...but I did it and it felt really good.

2nd, I went back to logging everything that I ate down in a small notebook. I need to keep up with everything I eat and my workout for that day so when I do start seeing progress I can go back and see what I'm doing.

3rd, I just got in a great workout that was FREE on youtube. I will share the video below. Its a Leslie Sansone 3mile walk. In the video she uses a belt band - which I don't have- so instead I used a band or some 2lb weights :) starting to ramble and I'm running out of time....later

I'm Not the Brightest Christmas Ball in the Bunch...

I posted yesterday about feeling unmotivated and just not feeling very good about my eating on Sunday evening. I told myself I would have a great day too. I did good at work, ate my lunch with no snacking. I made supper which was my turkey meatloaf muffins with some green beans +  potatoes. Well, i was making my mashed potatoes and I went for the fridge to get some milk and 'Oh No' - no milk? So off to Freds I go ( Freds is kinda like a dollar general if your not sure).Well I got more than just milk at Freds....

Yesterday wasn't great, no workout and I spontaneously bought some creme drops and marshmallow santa's and ate most of them myself !?

Now, im not the brightest Christmas ball in the bunch but I know what the problem here is. I'm a food addict and I needed a fix!!!  I fell off the wagon.  Eight days in and i'm being dragged by the wagon already - lmao

Today I will start fresh and forget about yesterday (and the day before that LOL) I need a good workout, some good food and all will be well in the world again. I also have a doctors appointment. I'm not really looking forward to it but I need to go.

The Good & The Bad Days...

My alarm went off at 4:30 this morning and I immediately slammed the sleep button. I did this twice before finally getting up.

I don't feel very motivated this morning, im so sleepy and my lower back is tender again :(

You ever feel like your fighting an uphill battle? Thats how I feel right now....just kinda down. I will be ok though. I just wanted to let you guys know that's its not always sugar plums and candy canes in my world ( not trying to be a smart@ss here, just being honest)

I wish I could just completely come off the zoloft for good. I don't know my own body anymore?

Today I plan on drinking a lot of water, I've been neglecting this rule lately.
No junk...I had some junk yesterday after work for supper with my hubby (it maybe the reason for my crappy mood this morning - im sure it is) 
I'm going to do my best of have a great day and not worry about my weight.
