One Week? Patience Please!

I haven't weighed in a few days but I figured I would try on some pants that are tight on me. Well, there's no change...darnit. Then I realize its only been one week LOL

I'm so proud of myself even if its only been a week. Im off work today so I slept until 9:30 ( a rarity for me) then woke up to my hubby making breakfast (very sweet) had my coffee and laid around watching tv. Then got up and made myself workout for 35 minutes (yeahya) I did a premix from Cathe's Athletic Training ( her low impact series). It was called Leg Cardio premix...pretty intense too. She uses 3 risers in the video..I only used my step platform and I was very winded :/ (talk about a wimp LOL)

anyways...off to wally world w/the kids. They want to spend their allowance, then we plan on spending the evening with my mom and sister & niece. We're going to watch (hopefully is redbox has it) Magic Mike's ...yum.

Just finished a 3-mile power walk w/Leslie. I didn't have a lot of motivation this morning...but I got it in. Eating still going good. I did a little too much snacking last night but the calories stayed at a good level.

Yesterday was a frustrating day at work, its exhausting when you don't get a long with a co-worker and you try not to snap on them.

sigh

And honestly - I'm sick of thinking about it or I would go into the story but in the end, its about a co-worker who doesn't take authority very well and she has a smart mouth.

anyways...gotta get ready for work.

Workout DONE!

I just finished a 30 minute interval workout with Cathe, man she's tough! I did Afterburn. I wish I had time to finish it all but 30 minutes had me sweating up a storm. I woke up at 4:45 in the morning to get it in.

 It felt so good to get it in and over with for the day! I have my lunch packed for the day...and I still feel very focused :)

Yesterday's meals:

100 calorie english whole wheat muffin with 1 egg and some ham
huge mixed green salad w/ham sandwich
greek yogurt w/almonds and a pink lady apple
Natural pbj sandwich on ww bread
lean hamburger w/baked chips
bowl of fruit loops w/reduced fat milk

not sure how many calories that is but gotta be close to 1600 or so. I pretty much eat every 4 hours :)

Proud Of Myself so far :)

So the day after Thanksgiving I decided to start the ball rolling on a healthier life style. Today is day #6 of working out and watching what I eat. I've had nothing at work thats bad. I've had no binges, no emotional eating, no spontaneous nibbling.

 I know its only been a few days but wow, do I feel better! And I'm not going to sugar coat it, its hard! Its the hardest thing that I've had to do in my life! But I know it will get easier with every passing day. Another motivator is the weight gain, If I keep eating badly I will only go one way - heavier, and I've worked too damn hard to get to where I am. Period! I can not let a little slip stop me.

For the last two days I've been off work. I kept finding myself wondering around in the kitchen opening up cabinets and rubbing my stomach. I was bored.

Today my hubby and I had some words, I was ready to snap! My first thought was those cocoa pebbles that are in the cabinet. But I told myself no, if i still want them later I will have some for a snack but not because im mad.

sigh,

its hard.

anyhoot. I just finished I really good workout that im very proud of. I did 30mins w/Leslie (4fast miles, I got in 2&1/2) then I did 30 minutes with Cathe ( Power hour modified only using my body weight and some 10's, 8's & 5lb dumb bells)

I feel good. I've gotta keep going.

Tomorrow its back to work and im debating on taking a rest day or getting up and walking before work. 6 days straight of workouts (even if there low intensity) is a lot on the body, but I don't want my motivation to slow down at all!!!

Sunday 11/25/2012 Eating good so far and just finished Total Body Sculpting w/Cathe. I had to work this morning and had some terrible sweet tooth cravings...but I managed to avoid any junk. And I had to make fudge and peanut butter pinwheels so I would say I did damn good ;-)

I plan on eating  a nice salad for supper with ham, low fat cheese, boiled eggs tons of veggies and light ranch dip.
